I have been quite busy as of late, yet I have also become increasingly bored. In this boredom I have started to read things that would otherwise never be read and thus create more time for me to do my school work. Never-the-less, I was going through Apple's Itunes' User Agreement (http://images.apple.com/legal/sla/itunes.pdf) and came upon the startling discovery that Itunes could be potentially hazardous to people's health.
A direct quote from the user agreement states,
"THE APPLE SOFTWARE IS NOT INTENDED FOR USE IN THE OPERATION OF NUCLEAR FACILITIES, AIRCRAFT NAVIGATION OR COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS, AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL SYSTEMS, LIFE SUPPORT MACHINES OR OTHER EQUIPMENT IN WHICH THE FAILURE OF THE APPLE SOFTWARE COULD LEAD TO DEATH, PERSONAL INJURY, OR SEVERE PHYSICAL OR ENVIRONMENTAL DAMAGE."
Now I don't know about you, but I am starting to second guess using Itunes to play any type of music file... I don't want to know what happens should a song skip a beat and suddenly set off a nuclear reaction in my laptop. Here's to hoping Russia or Bin Laden has not gotten there hands on a copy of Itunes.
